I don't know if I have ever admitted my love for Costco, but I just wouldn't feel right if I didn't let you all know how much I appreciate this store. Why, you might ask? Well, for the mere fact that I can get good tasting food with plenty of healthy choices at resonable prices - but the best part of all is the size of the cart. I ask you -"Where else can I put both kids in the same cart and still have plenty of room for groceries?" Why don't other stores get this?
Now on to my story. Shortly after unloading the girls from the car and placing Lucy in the cart a middle-aged women pulled up to her car (which was right next to ours) with a cart full of groceries. As she came to a stop beside her trunk two large cases of coke slid off the bottom part of the cart. I said "oh, no" as I glanced over to see if any damage was done. Than I sort of hesitantly turned away and started heading for the front entrance simultaneously thinking to myself, "maybe I should help her pick it up" "No, I have two kids - I have an excuse." As soon as this thought crossed my mind Savannah pipes in "Mommy, lets go help her." I was literally taken aback. I couldn't believe that I had just heard my little 3 year old offer to help. "Good idea Savannah." I said and made my way over to help. The lady was very kind she smiled and said "how sweet. Good job mom!"
I have to say that was one of the best moments for me as a mother. I don't know where she learned that, I am pretty sure it wasn't from me, but I am so grateful today to be Savannah's mom - she made me so proud. It's amazing how much we can learn from our children.

Isn't it amazing how sensitive little children are. Lizzie is just like that, teaching me all of the time. Children are the perfect example of Christ! Love ya Jen
I'm not surprised. That totally came from you. Sorry, I know Brock is great, but that is all you!
Such a cute story! I think it's those little moments that help us realize why we're asked to become like children! I love that story.
Jenny, this story is so you!. Savannah just does what she has seen, even when you didn't know she has seen. You taught me alot too. Thanks for passing goodness on. We need more of you!! mom
