So after several days of sickness running through our family we finally feel the blasted bug leaving. Lucy as always gets the brunt of whatever the rest of us get and ended up nearly going to the hospital, thank goodness for my Dad who save the day again. He worked his medical magic and Lucy is riding it out and almost clear. Savannah however seems to sail through most of the illnesses. She gets a little warn down but never stops to even let the bug get her, she is a tuff chica.
Let me interrupt this post to say that I just lost half of the original post. Blast!
Here is what I can remember writing...
However, we were able to ride out most of the illness up in beautiful Midway. I just can't get enough of that place. I am sure that being out the inversion sped up the healing process by at least 50%. We spent the weekend celebrating Becky, Abby, and Becky's new beau's Birthdays! I love them all, but I am secretly crushing on Becky's BF. Ok, not really but he is one heck of a guy. I can't think of anyone else who would stay up until the wee hours of the morning, just listening to our family talk about "our family." Seriously he knows how to impress. I also talked Becky into a photo shoot even though is was all of 10 degrees. I think she did a fabulous job.
I guess that is all I have for tonight. I hope that all of you are enjoying your new year as much as I am.

And so it goes...

Okay, I am going to do this again. I swear every time I get on my blog, which isn't very often the same thought runs through my head: " I need to stop this blogging thing once and for all." I think it is because I feel like a blogging failure. Yeah, maybe that is it, I am afraid of being a failure. Don't get me wrong, I have failed many times in my life - but I usually keep trying and trying and trying... until either I come to glimpse with reality that it just isn't going to work, or I learn what needs to be learned and move on. But all that failure happens to be in the confines of my own head not for the public to see. Perhaps this could fit into the pride category. I don't want to fail for everyone to see. But is not blogging really failing? Probably not....

Now that that is out of the way on to bigger and better things.
Update:
Christmas - great! Spent the time in Midway with my family. Lots of hookie bobbing (is that how you spell it?) snow fort making, hot tubing, movie watching, game playing, and of course eating.
New Years - Relaxing - put the kids to bed early, watch a movie, eat good food, go to bed.
Currently - Working 4 nights a week, loving winter, back on track with this workout thing, and looking forward to a most fabulous year yet to come.

Oh yeah, and I turned 30! Way to go Me.

So there you have it! I hope it was worth the read.

Hopefully more to come in the near future.
