So here I am watching Idol Gives back and honestly trying to hold back tears - for those of you who really know me you know that it takes a lot to make me cry. However, one thing that always gets me is seeing others suffer and than watching people step up to help. I am amazed at the power of the human spirit and love and generosity of people. There is nothing worse than seeing another human being suffer - especially a child. I wish there was something more that I could do, that we could do. All the worldly desires seem so frivolous and futile. Wow, there is so much am so much suffering in the world. So many mixed emotions. One of gratitude that I have been given so much and another of frustration that I am in a constant bubble - immune to the pain and suffering that goes on. There is comfort in knowing that this life is only a moment compared to eternity. It does make me so, so very grateful for my blessings. I want to reflect just for a moment mostly for myself on those blessings. But wait - I just have to say that I can't believe that American idol is singing about the Lord. I love it! For truly it is through our Savior that peace can be felt and hope is attained. They get it - I love it.
A few of the things I am most grateful for
A - An Amazing husband who works hard each day and in times of trouble always maintains his optimism and dreams.
B - Bunnells what can I say I love my family - I never laugh as hard as I do with them and feel loved completely.
C - Cannons - my in-laws are fabulous. So kind, loving, and generous.
D - The Dawn - I love this time of day when it's still quite and peaceful.
E - Eternal Marriage that can last forever
F - Friends - I am so blessed to have great friends that I just love more than I can express.
G - God, I owe all that I am and all that I have to Him.
H - Holidays - the smells, the food, the feelings, and time with family and friends
I - Imagination - I am blessed to have a daughter with a vivid imagination that is constant entertainment.
J - Jesus Christ - my testimony of Him and the love I feel from him.
K - Kisses from my kids!
L - Lucy - her laughter and cute crooked smile just like her mom.
M - Mom and Mom-in-laws love all of them. My mom and her example I hope I can be like her some day. Eileen - Her energy and love for life. Crystal - her ability to always make me feel loved and accepted.
N - Nature - I have been blessed with so many opportunities to experience the beauty and peace of Nature.
O - Opportunities that living in this country provides
P - Prophet - I miss President Hinckley, but know that the mantel has been passed to President Monson and I am grateful for his testimony and faith.
Q - Quiet moments to think and ponder.
R - Rain - The smell and sound. I miss the rain and would love some of it right now.
S - Savannah - she is just a riot. I love her so much and I can't imagine what life would be like without her. The other day she was trying to throw a ball over a volleyball net. She finally did it and said, "Mom, they should pay me to play this."
T - Tates - my other in-laws that are amazing as well - who knew I could feel so loved.
U - Understanding of Gods plan for each of us - this brings peace in times of struggle.

She looks more like you every day except the hair color. Lots of love and hugs and kisses to Savannah, you and Brock. I miss you all. mom
Yep, that was awesome that they sang about God. Gotta love that people are getting over being politically correct and realizing it's now or never...better shape up. Your list was also good, though not surprising...I think I knew all of that about you, but I will say that I hope I was on your mind when you wrote about your awesome friends. :) How is Buckeye? I love it there. Maybe if we can't meet, I'll just have to find a way to come down there. I'll also add my love of you to your family's. You're great. Give everyone a hug for me.
I loved this! It was so fun to read all the things you wrote. It's great being your friend!!
we love your blog as well. BTW, "Z" could be for the ZIPPERS: for making dressing easier! (sorry, thats the best we could come up with).
We love our fist landlords. if you recall, we said a prayer to find a cheap basement from a good family, then felt inspired to turn into Ramona, 3 weeks later...the majic began.
keep us updated.
