I can't believe my baby is a year old. That went by way too fast. What a crazy but fabulous year. It always amazes me to see how much a child grows in just a year. When Lucy was born I thought that for some reason with Savannah having such a huge personality Lucy would be calm and more of an introvert. However, this was not the case. Lucy is just as full of life as Savannah, yet so different. She knows what she wants and if she doesn't get it she will let you know how she feels about it. In other words she is as stubborn as they come. I love this about her. She is so full of laughter and loves to play in pillows and blankets, copy her sister, have yelling wars with Savannah, taking tubs, and swimming. Yesterday I took the girls swimming and Lucy was fearless. She would throw herself off the step into the water. Trying to let her gain some fear of the water I would let her stay in for a little bit, pick her up, and after a few nervous breaths would plunge in once again. I suppose I will be watching her a little more closely. There is so much about this girl that I love- I am so grateful to be her mom!

Wow! Already?! She is adorable and I love her hair with the little clip in it! You are such a great mom. And I loved the Rose Kennedy quote! I might need to copy that on to mine somewhere!
Jen,
I feel like a dork now that I missed Lucy's birthday after that whole birthday conversation. I did not realize you had both babies at the same season. Happy Birthday to Lucy. I need to get to know her better. I always talk about how much I love Savannah. The arranged marriage is still on for her and Josh right?
